Play Therapy Supervisor Training Course

For Potential CAPT Supervisors (CPT-S)

This 14 hr course will be offered in a webinar format over seven (7) sessions on-line and will occur on Sunday evenings:

**** Sessions will be recorded and those that are missed by participants can be made up by logging in to the recorded session at an addition fee of $25.00 per session paid to the facilitator.

Dates: March 11, 18, 25 and April 8, 15, 22 and 29.

Training Objectives

When participants complete this course they will be able to:

1. distinguish between play therapy supervision and play therapy consultation
2. distinguish between various supervision models that can be utilized in Play Therapy Supervision.
3. recognize the importance and impact of diversity in play therapy supervisory relationships and service provision
4. distinguish between ethical and legal issues that impact clinical play therapy supervision/consultation
5. discuss the required paperwork to practice as a CPT-S.
6. practice techniques and skills that can be used to develop effective Play Therapy supervisory relationships via role play
7. Identify their own supervisory style
